《Raffia & MVS Jersey》
The unique vintage feel is created by the natural irregularities of Taisho Spinning Co., Ltd.’s raffia yarn. The fuzz is minimized to prevent the fabric from clinging together.
Raffia is made by reusing cotton that is trimmed away during the production of “rakumomi” yarn. It contains many short fibers, which naturally create irregularities in the yarn.
This fabric is knitted from VORTEX yarn, created using a new spinning method, for a smooth finish.
The characteristics of VORTEX yarn include reduced fuzz, less pilling, crisp prints, excellent washability, and enhanced moisture absorption and spread due to its ability to absorb water easily.
To enhance the nuanced colors and fabric texture, the white colorway is garment-washed, while the other colors are overdyed (reactive dyeing) at the garment stage.
