Wool gauze, an essential material for Padcalle’s autumn/winter collection, is soft and gentle like gauze, while also being lightweight and comfortable against the skin with reduced prickliness.
The contrast between the warm texture of wool and the light, sheer texture of tulle is its greatest appeal.

《Wool Gauze Jersey》
A rare, unshrink-treated 100% wool gauze jersey made with Austrian merino wool yarn, loosely knitted for ultimate softness.
Thin and soft like gauze, it suppresses the fuzziness of the wool, reducing its prickly texture.
Warm and excellent at inhibiting bacteria and odors, it is the finest material for autumn/winter.

・Because the wool gauze jersey is knitted loosely with single yarns and then washed, the yarns’ tendency to return to their twisted state becomes apparent, resulting in skewing and twisting along the body and side seams.
This is a characteristic of the processing, and the degree of skewing varies from piece to piece.

・Unshrink-treated wool will shrink considerably if washed at high temperatures or tumble-dried, so please refrain from washing it at home and take it to a trusted dry cleaner.
