Collection SPRING/SUMMER 2026 “Blue Hour - Moonlight Indigo”
A gathered blouse dyed with Bengara to beautifully bring out its natural hues.
The elbow-length sleeves and voluminous fit that keeps the fabric away from the body create a refreshing look.
The open-front design features generous gathering at the front and back, making it versatile enough to wear as a light summer layer.
It can also be worn over a dress or tank top.
《Cotton-Silk Lawn》
Cotton-silk lawn with a beautiful silk luster.
This lightweight, delicate fabric is characterized by its airy, feather-light feel.
It has a unique, smooth texture that combines the crisp feel of cotton with the soft, moist feel of silk.
《Bengara Dyeing》
Garment-dyed with Bengara.
Bengara takes its name from the Bengal region of India, where it originated; in Japan, it has also been known as kōkaku or bengara.
The dye is extracted from iron oxide, which is found in the soil and is most abundant in its red form. Japanese artisans have recreated this ancient dyeing method today.
After years of trial and error, artisans have developed unique burning times and blending methods to create yellow, black, green, purple, and other dyes from iron oxide found in the soil. These dyes are blended by hand and used to dye the garments.
The dyeing process uses no mordants or heat, but instead involves rubbing the fabric in room-temperature water. Because the dyes are soil-decomposable, they are environmentally friendly.
col.04 Ivory: Bengara + Kohon (shell) dye
col.40 Green: Bengara + Aizome (Indian indigo) dye
col.53 Charcoal: Bengara + Kemuri (ink made by burning pine roots) dye
・As each piece is carefully processed by hand, there may be variations in color and tone. Please enjoy your one-of-a-kind color.
